Day 1 - Cats on the Brain

I'll admit it, I almost forgot that today was August 1st, and thus the beginning of this wonderful challenge. I'm participating in 31 Plays in 31 Days (http://31plays31days.com/), and until 11:59pm last night completely forgot that today I would be writing a play. Well, midnight hit, I remember, and the first image I'm hit with is a woman alone onstage. And then cats. Man cats.

After sleeping on it and waiting all day, the man-cats were still there and the craziness ensued. What issued forth in the last hour and a half were some of the craziest 7 pages of writing I've done in a while.

I love it.

It's been a while since I've simply let myself write, no restrictions, no self-editing. It's wonderful.
